FOXFIRE | Limited Return Parfum Botanique

First introduced in 2021 as part of our "Creatures of the Forest" Winter Solstice release, Foxfire is an animalic floral musk fragrance inspired by the beauty and mystique of the arctic fox. With their undeniable cunning and snow-spangled pelts which reflect the moonlight, these vulpine creatures are steeped in folklore throughout the cold north. In Finland and across Lapland, for example, the Northern Lights are named revontulet, or "fox's fires", after the Sámi tale of Tulikettu, a giant fox who lived up in the snowy mountains and whose fur was alit with fire,which tells of foxes and their thick, bushy tails kicking up snow to ignite sparks and ethereal streams of auric light across the land. 

Despite its hibernal inspirations, Foxfire is a rich and warm scent that marries an exquisite floral bouquet with a base of soft, lactonic woods and a variety of botanically-derived musk notes which form our signature fur accord (found in earlier releases 'Le Loup Blanc' and 'Lune Froide'). To anoint oneself in this fragrant oil is akin to being wrapped in a perfumed stole..
