CEDARWOOD, PORT ORFORD | Essential Oil
Pure Chamaecyparis lawsonia essential oil.
Port Orford cedarwood is not a true cedar, its botanical name marks it as a member of the cypress family. Its essential oil, distilled from the heartwood and not the leaves, has a distinct fragrant profile, different from other cedarwood oils, which can be best described as sweetly woody with notes of pine, fennel and anise with a balsamic herbaceousness. Its aroma is uplifting, grounding, and centering, and can calm the mind, declutter thoughts, and invigorate the spirit.
