The Empress in a Bottle

I'm a quest to find scents that remind me of my favorite major arcana tarot cards and act as seasonal objects of self-devotion. I haven't quiet been able to start this journey until recently thanks for a more stable financial situation, but still, it's a slow process.

Lvnea has long been on my covet list. Mostly due to price, the perfume and products from here have been the last ones I'm purchasing off my list. (I totally understand the cost to quality, plus Canada shipping into U.S. issues, btw)

But when I finally got my first purchase last year with "Deer Mother" as a winter gift to myself, I was immediately sold to try more.

enter pêche obscène : the essence of the empress, and all around seasonal scent.

I'm absolutely devoted to this divine scent. It has everything I'm looking for in a year-round addition, but also special moments product since it is expensive and I won't want to waste a drop. And as for the tarot card is reminds me of, without a doubt, the empress. She's peaches, raindrops, rabbits. She's Venus and the Earth. She's both a Taurus and Libra. She's beauty, strength, and sensuality, uniting the masculine and feminine divine all at once. And as a longtime Chelsea Wolfe devotee, I knew we could trust in her process with this product, too. I hope for more collabs like this one in the near future!

Additional note: the customer service at Lvnea has been beyond wonderful! Thank you so much for caring for each and every issue that may occur during the shipping process. It must be so difficult, especially these days with the tariff madness, but I hope you all can continue to help us Americans with out beloved purchases.

New Favorite

I held off trying this scent for a long time because I was worried it would be too fruity to work with my body chemistry. Finally gave it a go and couldn't be happier. It's less fruit, more Opium in Springtime 🖤

Decaying Peach & Jasmine

Someone asked me if I work in a flower shop while I was wearing this, I think because it’s not just flowers, but also soil and moss. It's damp, heavy, dirty, intoxicating. I think it can be read as witchy or elegant (or both, if your aesthetic is "elegant witch"). My first-ever full bottle purchase and I fell in love immediately!

Time capsule bottled

Adored most beautifully, strong at first spray on the nape of my hair strands, one, two mists is all you need. As it settles in and it will the lingering aroma sweeps back in time -- 1920's a version of Chanel no5 and my excitement, wonderment begins and then it softens even more till days later I capture her once again! Thank you so beautiful!

A Witch's Peach

In the bottle the jasmine, patchouli and oakmoss are strong with a smokiness floating around them, seizing my nostrils with a scent reminiscent of a mature perfume mixed with burning incense.
Wet on my skin I smell the peach creeping its way to the front between the patchouli and oakmoss, with claws that bruise the plants.
Post drydown, the peach is harmonizing with the vetiver, oakmoss and patchouli, with the jasmine and sandalwood lingering along the periphery.
It creates a complex, dark fragrance that is musky and heady like a witch's peach she placed on the altar and allowed to rot among her herbs and incense.
