Muguet, May Bells, Our Mother's Tears; no matter the epithet, the perfume of this familiar woodland flower's scalloped bells is said to help relieve depression, ease distrust, and restore a sense of childlike wonderment. 

More than just a fragrance, this eau de parfum was crafted as a charm to provide a sense of security; an olfactory window onto a time and place nested deep within the secret heart of whoever beholds it. 

Lily of the Valley is a timeless perfume that mimics the sensory embrace of May bells swaying on the warming breeze—a nod to the flower's vintage heritage that looks optimistically toward the future in bloom. In comparison to the weighted, indolic veil of our Eau de Lilas, Lily of the Valley is a classic soliflore of the same name, pacifying and clean, trembling with the vibrational pulse of romantic folly.

Notes: lemon meringue, fresh cream, and the promises of May; the tickle of sweet grasses underfoot and pollen-freckled noses; trembling calfs’ legs and coltsfoot—cheerful bursts of dewy green facets and lemony overtones bring a youthful expression to an otherwise lactonic, vanilla floral body.

Featured Botanicals—or, how the magic happens: vanilla bean, mimosa, rose absolute, jasmine absolute, ylang ylang, ambrette, and hexanol 3-cis–a natural isolate from mint. 

Ingredients: Alcohol (Cane Sugar, Organic), Fragrance/Parfum (Essential Oils, Absolutes, CO2s, Natural Isolates, and Plant Extracts)

This perfume is considered a fantasy floral to mimic the scent of Lily of the Valley and only contains Convallaria majalid (Lily of the Valley) by means of an energetic imprint.

This small-batch artisanal fragrance is composed in part of seasonally-sourced raw materials. Once they're gone, they cannot be reissued until next year's thaw prepares the ground anew. Variations in scent from previous editions are celebrated. Wildcrafted in Tiohtiá:ke/Montréal.

oh wow wow wow

I bought this when I realized I'd waited too long for the lilac perfume from LVNEA. Mind you, I am a LVNEA lover- forete dormante is one of my favorite perfumes of all time, ghost pine is a masterpiece, and their one fall limited run 'besom' was an absolute soul-awakening experience, for me.
And this one honestly might be the best of them- or.... well. top three. I can't displace forete dormante, not really. or besom, because truly, that was *soul awakening*
It's funny- I don't get the vanilla in this at all. i get dewy green and sweet white floral, and i absolutely get 'lily of the valley' - my mother grows them all around the house, and so it's a scent i'm incredibly familiar with. this perfume captures it absolutely incredibly. the lemon meringue scared me, admittedly- i am a gourmand HATER, truly I am, but I somehow only really get a soft acidic brightness just beneath the sweet floral essence, that kind of... boosts it. i want to bathe in this perfume, but also want to hoard it until it's released again... or pray that the next time i get paid there happens to be one single bottle left for me to grab.

All vanilly no lily

Lily of the valley is one of my very favourite smells, so I was really hoping that this would capture its essence (not literally - I did read the ingredients!).

Sadly, the fresh, green floral I was hoping for is very weighed down by the vanilla and amberette, which I find extremely cloying and honestly nauseating.

At first spray I could smell a fresher, greener top note that did mimic LOTV, but after only a couple of minutes I am left with a wrist that smells part powdery part gourmand, and neither are carrying the LOTV which is sadly completely lost in the heavier sweetness.

Hugely disappointed as I wasn’t able to order a sample and paid for a whole bottle only to find that there is actually no lily of the valley on offer here.

I’m assuming that last year’s batch incorporated real LOTV because I remember a warning about the natural toxins. Very sad that this year’s batch is all vanilly no lily!

Delightful

It's hard to capture the delicate scent of Lily of the Valley, but this perfume does an excellent job of recreating it closely.
Obviously a very floral scent if that's not your thing.

Wonderful on the skin

I love how this smells on the skin! Once it reacts with your skin PH it definitely smells of lily of the valley, though in the bottle it smells almost like roses so I was a bit nervous. 100% in love
