The Rose of Venus is a geometric spiroglyph delineated by Venus’ orbital course around the Earth over a period of 8 years. Recognized as a manifestation of sacred geometry, the blossom-shaped trajectory of the planet of love invites us to reflect on the divine tapestry woven and revealed to us by the sacred order of all things.

A butter-soft botanical ganache delicately scented with the tart floral aromas of Bulgarian lemon balm, lemon myrtle, and rose otto laid atop a base of sandalwood and tonka butter. Reconnect with pleasure through touch and the embracing virtues of Venusian herbs and extracts, each selected for their skin-loving and heart-soothing properties. Suitable for use on the face, hands, and body.

As our ability to communicate began to evolve from something rudimentary into a flourishing art form, our stories found their way onto walls, into frescos, onto vellum, and into bound volumes, manifesting our heart's hopes into the material world through our hands. Through canvas we found catharsis, inspiration, knowledge—as well as a means to communicate and expedite our thoughts, desires, and our most secret of correspondences.

Never have pen and paper gone quite as out of style as in recent years. Paradoxically, the same tangible nature of paper ephemera that condemns it to the past is what canonized it,  ensuring its everlasting endurance through the annals of history past and still unwritten — for we are, above all, sentimentalists at heart, moved by nostalgia, tuned into the infinitely powerful and primal practice which has served us for eons as both messenger and guardian of our most precious thoughts.

An experiment in the ancient arts of perfumed paper making and natural pigment, our Bleeding Heart perfumed intentions ritual set combines Victorian sentimentality with the power of Will and Devotion, as expressed and enacted through written word.

Each ritual set contains an artisanally-crafted perfumed ink made of ancient aphrodisiacs, naturally-occurring botanical pigment, and intention-setting resins for permanence, in addition to a flower-flocked memo card meant to carefully guard your words and invocations.

Ingredients: Styrax Benzoin Resin, Calamus Draco (Dragon’s Blood) Resin, Rosa Damascena Flower, Crocus Sativus (Saffron), Pistacia Lentiscus (Mastic) Resin,  Commiphora Myrrha (Myrrh) Extract, Ferula Moschata (Muskroot) Extract, Alcohol, Acacia Senegal Gum

This set includes: 1 x 5ml naturally-scented artisanal ink presented in a black glass bottle and  1 x naturally-scented floral memo card (2 pages) bound with string, cardstock, and gold foil motif. Seal and store to preserve aroma. Shake ink well and remove air-tight dropper insert before use. Replace after use to avoid spills.

If grief is love with nowhere to go, then so too is yearning; a tremor turned fissure as it ravages our body trying to reach for the other.  

Fumigants have a long-established history as ritual tools to connect with the intangible; curlicues of perfumed smoke coiling in and out between worlds, caressing the heavens, flooding out from beneath the veil, connecting our earthbound hearts with the dear, the departed, the divine. A perfumed token of devotion ; a means to reach out into the ether when yearning must escape the body in search of some place—or someone—to go.

Each perfumed heart-shaped pastille is crafted from an unctuous paste of honey, rose petals, medjool dates, saffron, incense, and lemon verbena before being rolled in powdered  resin and 14kt gold mica.

THE RITUAL: Use in ceremonies of love, lust, or longing. To burn incense pastilles, light a self-igniting charcoal disk and place in a heat-resistant container, allowing for embers to catch before dropping the pastille into the divot. Do not burn incense unattended, and keep out of reach of children, pets, or flammable materials. Use caution when handling vessel, which may become hot to the touch. Charcoal disks are not included but can be purchased here.
