LA SERPENTINE | Eau de Parfum - osmanthus, sandalwood, and oakmoss

I love this one. It's bottle worthy. Peach over resin. Gorgeous.

I find 'La Serpentine' to be all of those things, and so much more. I also struggle to put how I feel about it, and how it affects me into words. I, too, had a visceral, deep response to this fragrance from the moment I first smelled it.

It has become a refuge to me since I blind-bought it a few weeks ago. I find myself yearning for it if I take a day off, and will even catch myself thinking about it during the work day, like a missed lover. It is sexy, beguiling, translirtive, complex, and grounding. It is hard to describe and easier to experience.

I never used to wear fragrance, but have discovered it as a tool to heal and support my spirits while living life as a Minnesotan during this oppressive administration.

I stumbled across Lvnea when searching the Internet for all-natural fragrance houses (synthetics cause migraines). And serendipitously wandered into this magic.

'La Serpentine' has become my intimate, visceral oasis. It is gorgeous and heady. It's opens with a blast of peachy, grapefruity, ginger.
Then, comes waves of earthy patchouli, leather, and osmanthus with delightful hints of honey(without being too sweet), black tea, lavender, and wood.

This scent shape shifts from day-to-day, hour-by-hour while still highlighting the osmathus scent(at least on my skin). I find it to be a long-lasting fragrance that settles into the most calming and embracing, oaky skin-scent (with hints of apricot wrapped around me) after 6+ hours of wear. (I often can smell it well into the next day)

It manages to be bold without ever getting unbalanced, or trapped by itself. Sweet without being cloying. And grounding while also feeling sexy. I am in love with it. Seduced by it.

La Serpentine has coiled around me and gently sunk it's fangs into my core... I yield willingly. Blissfully. Dankly.

This is a heavy scent. Not for every day use but it will make you smell like a rich widow who's husband died under mysterious circumstances. Gives me a sweet, smoky, and earthy profile with a hint of sweetness that I can only discribe as " balsamic".

First I get peach then leather, then what to me smells like porcini mushrooms then an amber musk sweet kinda smell. It’s very heavy. I enjoy this so much. I’m wondering if it would layer nicely with a floral scent or something fruity. If you like obscene peach you’d like this.

She KICKS. This is the. Most. Earthy sexy feral wild loamy perfume. The words eldritch, elemental, adamantine, destroyer of worlds come to mind.

It's quite jammy, very spiced peach wine in a deep cave somewhere. Like. Just. Omg agreeing with another review here--i had a visceral response to smelling this. Thank you lvnea. This is gorgeous and SO completely unique.
