Pure Pogostemon cablin benth essential oil.

Patchouli is a shrub native to the Philippine Islands and Indonesia. It was used in India and China to scent fine fabrics and repel moths, and the scent became a symbol of luxury in Victorian England. It was also the favoured perfume of the hippie movement in the 1960s and 70s. It is considered to be an aphrodisiac with magical powers and is associated with the element Earth and the goddess Persephone. A powerful attraction oil, it stimulates the sex glands, increasing libido and sexual response.

This special reserve batch of iron-distilled dark patchouli has an extremely rich, herbaceous, sweet, and woody-balsamic odour reminiscent of wet earth, with wine and chocolate-like nuances.
