VETIVER, HAITIAN | Hydrodiffused Essential Oil
Pure Vetiveria zizanioides hydrodiffused essential oil.
Vetiver (Chrysopogon or Vetiveria zizanioides), also known as vetivert, khus, or khus khus, is a perennial bunchgrass of the Poaceae family, native to India. The grass has been used for hundreds of years for a wide variety of purposes, including perfumery, where it is traditionally used as a fixative. Vetiver processing was introduced to Haiti in the 1940s, and the oil from Haitian vetiver is highly sought after. Its aroma is deep, heavy, slightly sweet and resinous, with pronounced woody, earthy, root-like notes and light smoky undertones. This is the most pleasant-smelling & softest vetiver that is available.
