VIOLET LEAF ABSOLUTE | Pure Plant Extract
Violet leaf (Viola odorata) essential oil is distilled from the leaves of the wood violet (also known as sweet violet, English violet, common violet, florist's violet, or garden violet), a hearty herbaceous flowering perennial native to Europe and Asia, and which has been introduced to North America and Australia.
The oil is a viscous, green to dark green or greenish brown liquid with a grassy, green, earthy, leafy scent with a floral undertone.
It is traditionally used in aromatherapy for its relaxing, soothing, and inspiring properties, to soothe stress headaches, nervousness, insomnia, rheumatism, poor circulation, and sore throats, and in perfumery as a fixative.
It blends well with clary sage, lavender, benzoin, basil, citrus, sandalwood, and geranium, mimosa, osmanthus, blue lotus, narcissus, green and black teas, magnolia, and tuberose.
Type: herbaceous
Note: base (fixative)
Characteristics: grassy, green, earthy, leafy, floral
Presented in a 5ml or 15ml black glass bottle with a euro dropper.

Do not ingest essential oils or apply them internally, and avoid contact with the eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and consult a knowledgeable health practitioner before use when pregnant or breastfeeding.
